PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the facility controller which can save execution of work even when many sensors and devices are connected. SOLUTION: The facility controller A comprises a main CPU part 1 which performs a protocol processing, etc., for communicating with a host computer, a program holding part 2 which stores a program of the main CPU 1, a system memory part 3 for running the program of the main CPU, a multiplex transmission control part 5 which informs a terminal device of control instructions and gathers state change information detected by the terminal device, a communication interface part 6 which communicates with the host computer 13, an A/D conversion part 8 which converts an inputted video signal from analog into digital, an image compressing part 9 which compresses the digital image data, a transfer control part 10 which transfers the image data to a system memory, etc.
