Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electrophotographic photoreceptor excellent in productivity and adaptable to various photoreceptor characteristics only by alteration in a manufacturing method by incorporating ultrafine superconductor particles into an electric charge generating layer. SOLUTION: When an electric charge generating layer and an electric charge transferring layer are laminated on an electrically conductive substrate to manufacture the electrophotographic photoreceptor, ultrafine superconductor particles optionally mixed with a resin binder are used in the electric charge generating layer. The ultrafine superconductor particles are fine particles of a semiconductive inorganic solid having 0.5-100 nm, preferably 0.5-50 nm particle diameter. The particle diameter of the ultrafine superconductor particles can be varied by adjusting reaction conditions such as concentration, temperature and time in the manufacture of the particles. The weight ratio between the electric charge generating material and the resin binder is preferably 100:10 to 5:100. The thickness of the electric charge generating layer is 0.05-10 μm, preferably 0.1-2 μm. |
