Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time from ignition switch-ON upto charge finish of a back-up capacitor to eliminate instability of an air bag actuation generated during charging. SOLUTION: An air bag device is provided with a main electric power source 11 as a power source for supplying electric power to an ignition means for expanding an air bag, and a capacitor 16 charged by the power source 11 via a power source switch 31, in parallel. In this case, a breaking control circuit 33 is provided to breake a discharge route for allowing discharge of the capacitor 16 when the power source switch 31 is turned off.
