GARBAGE DECOMPOSING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly agitate and move garbage and to prevent a part of the garbage from being left undecomposed at the time of biologically decomposing the garbage by preventing the space between a spiral blade for agtating and mixing the garbage and the inner wall of a treating chamber from being clogged with garbage. SOLUTION: A rotating shaft 15 is extended from one side wall face 13 of a treating chamber having a garbage inlet 21 at the upper part to the other side wall face, a small-diameter spiral blade 16 for agitating and mixing the garbage toward both sides from the center of a treating chamber 12 and a large-diameter spiral blade 17 for agitating and mixing the garbage from both sides of the treating chamber toward the center are provided around the rotating shaft to circulate the garbage between the center and side wall faces of the treating chamber in this garbage treating device. In this case, the end 16a of the small-diameter spiral blade 16 is positioned at a distance L from the side wall faces 13 and 14 of the treating chamber 12.
