PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve entertainment and handleability concerning editing by recording sensor information obtained by a sensor information input means at the time of recording picture information in a recording medium. SOLUTION: A video signal processing part 3 gives compressing processing with respect to video signal, voice data, e.g. and divides compressed picture data and compressed voice data of the same time by the unit of a packet to write into a buffer memory 32 under the control of a data processing/system control circuit 31. Processing for fetching (writing) sensor data inputted at the same time of fetched compressed picture data and compressed voice data in the memory 32 is executed. Then, fetched compressed picture data, compressed voice data and sensor data are generated as one packet of data. Then, control processing for writing the obtained packet in a disk is executed. Thus, picked up image, sound absorbing voice and sensor data are recorded.
