Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drastically decrease the frequency of maintenance to descale an electrode without accelerating the ageing of the electrode in a diaphragm-less electrolytic device and further to prevent the insufficient sealing of a gasket due to the heat of the electrode in the gasket-sealed electrolytic cell. SOLUTION: The width 11 of the cathode plate 9 and anode plate 10 is controlled to 50-200 mm. A plurality of the plates 9 and 10 are arranged alternately and parallel, and the distance 12 between the plates 9 and 10 is controlled to 3 to 5 times the plate thickness 13. The space between the plates 9 and 10 is pressed by a reinforced rubber gasket and sealed.
