Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gripping device suitable for different car body types as soon as possible, and to make a manufacture line to convert a nonprocessed body into a different type as soon as possible. SOLUTION: This gripping device on a manufacture line has vehicle ways 9 and 10 for side vehicles 11 and 12 movable to separate to the side parts of transfer devices 2, on a basic frame 1 operating together under the transfer devices 2, at both sides of the transfer devices 2 for nonprocessed vehicle 4. The side vehicles 11 and 12 are supported at the side of the transfer device 2. A cramp means 34 operates to connect the side vehicles 11 and 12, and the basic frame 1, when the side vehicles 11 and 12 are in the working position.
