XY-TABLE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an XY-table device capable of shortening vertical strokes of a lower tool provided in a turret mechanism, and miniaturizing the whole working device, and improve the productivity. SOLUTION: In an XY-table device of an electronic part mounting machine which moves a printed board 13 (tabular workpiece) in X and Y axes directions by means of an XY-table and which mounts electronic parts on the upper and lower faces of the printed board 13 by means of upper and lower tools 23a, 24a of a turret mechanism 22, the XY-table is made up of a Y-axis driving means 17 for driving a work holding means 15, which holds one end side of the printed board 13, in the Y-axis direction, and a Y-axis driving means 20 for driving the Y-axis driving means 17 in the X-axis direction perpendicular to the Y-axis, and the other end side of the printed board 13 is supported by a work guiding means 12 which follows the Y-axis driving means 17 to move in the X-axis direction and which supports the other end side of the printed board 13 so that it is movable in the Y-axis direction. Since the XY-table can be miniaturized, the electronic part mounting machine can also be miniaturized.
