Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure satisfactory strength and rigidity in practical use while reducing the weight of a racket frame and improve degree of freedom for design by arranging a reinforcement layer using carbon fiber whose tensile elastic modulus is within a specified range at least in a part of an outer layer constituting a racket frame made of fiber reinforcement resin. SOLUTION: This racket frame is formed by a substantially elliptic batting part where a gut is stretched, a grip part, and a shaft part connecting the batting part and the grip part, and formed by disposing an outer layer 6 made of fiber reinforced resin in the periphery of a core material 5. In this case, the outer layer 6 is made of fiber reinforced resin which is reinforced by carbon fiber or glass fiber, and a reinforcement layer 7 made of fiber reinforced resin reinforced by carbon fiber having tensile elastic modulus of 650-1000 GPa is disposed in a part of the layer. That is, the reinforcement layer 7 is interposed in the outer layer 6 corresponding to both side surfaces 8a, 8b on the batting surface of the racket frame 1. Thus, the strength and rigidity of the racket frame 1 are improved. |
