Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently collect DNA samples from a living body or dead body by collecting the DNA samples from the inner cheek of an individual person, sending the samples to a depository and storing the samples in a refrigerated state. SOLUTION: An envelope, into which a data collection sheet recording the individual person information of a sample provider is sealed and which can be sealed, is formed. Sterile swabs are sealed into another envelope and are used for the DNA sample collection from the inner cheek of the individual person. The swabs are formed of a high-elasticity synthetic fibers, such as polyamide. An important requirement for allowing the utilization of the sufficient materials for various analyses over the period or the generation of the individual person is to prepare a multiplicity, for example, about 6 to 10 pieces of the swabs. The swabs used for sample collection are returned into the original envelope, are put into an envelope for mailing together with the envelope containing the data sheet and is mailed to the depository. The samples are then subjected to read and/or save and analysis. The efficient collection of the DNA samples is thus made possible.
