PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To be light and to hardly cause fatigue even in the traveling of long time by forming a reinforcing plate from synthetic resin harder than a mid sole, forming a projection shape in a toe part heel direction and providing a structure for which it is inserted and integrated through the projection shape to the almost entire area of a foot arch part on the ground surface side of the mid sole. SOLUTION: For this shoe sole 1, the reinforcing plate 3 and a main sole 4 are respectively formed by different processes, and after applying an adhesive material to an adhesion surface, they are press-fixed to the mid sole 2 and integrated. An arch cushion 11 is disposed on the lower side of the foot arch part position of a dotted line 10 and foamed urethane is directly mounted on the mid sole 2 for the arch cushion 11. Then, one or two projected lines 31 of the reinforcing plate 3 are provided, the reinforcing plate 3 is covered further and made more effective for twist. Also, at the time of formation by a die, the main sole 4 of a treading part and the main sole 4 of a heel part are arranged at the positions in close contact with the reinforcing plate 3. This shoe prepared by using the shoe sole 1 obtained in such a manner is light in weight and is hardly bent or twisted.
