Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the dust remover in an activated-carbon adsorption tower for removing the dust in a waste gas with a convenient device and without need to regenerate the activated carbon. SOLUTION: A dust remover 4 for removing the dust contained in a waste gas having the packed bed of a substantially spherical dust depositing medium made of an elastic material is provided at an inlet 2 through which the waste gas is introduced into an activated-carbon adsorption tower 1. The waste gas is brought into contact with the spherical elastic body 5 as the dust depositing medium in the dust removing part 6 of the dust remover 4 to deposit the dust on the elastic body 5. The dust remover 4 is composed of the dust removing part 6 for depositing the dust on the elastic body 5, a mechanism 9 for feeding the elastic body to the dust collecting part and a discharge mechanism 10, and the feed means and discharge means are provided with double-flap dampers 9a, 9b, 10a and 10b. The elastic body 5 is cleaned and regenerated. As a result, the activated carbon is regenerated at a low equipment cost and a low running cost.
