Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impermeable cable under sheath having high reliability during supply of power for a long time at low cost, and a manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The impermeable cable under sheath comprises a cable core 1, an impermeable tape 3 for forming a lap 4 by covering an outer surface of the cable core 1 in the longitudinal direction and overlapping a part of the impermeable tape 3 in a circumferential direction, a plastic sheath 5 formed on an outer side of the impermeable tape 3 by extruding and covering the impermeable tape 3. The impermeable tape 3 and the plastic sheath 5 of the impermeable cable under sheath are integrated with each other by thermal fusion. The impermeable tape 3 is a laminate tape laminating a semi-conductive plastic layer 3a, an aluminum foil 3b, and an adhesive plastic layer 3e in this order from an inner side. An angle θ formed with an end surface B1 of the impermeable tape positioned on an outer side of the lap 4 and an outer surface B3 of the impermeable tape positioned on an inner side is obtuse and not less than 120 deg..
