Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of VDT work and to prevent the occurrence of physical trouble such as eyestrain. SOLUTION: Concerning a display/input device 10 provided with a display 13 having a display screen 13a and a keyboard 14 for inputting information to be used for display or control on the display 13, the display 13 is arranged on the side of a worker P rather than the keyboard 14. Otherwise, the display means makes the display screen almost horizontal. Thus, the exposure area of the eyeball is made narrow and the quantity of tear evaporation per unit time can be reduced. Therefore, an effect to protect the cornea is improved in comparison with conventional one, the problem of dry eye is reduced and the efficiency of correction with document preparation is improved so that long-time work is enabled.
