INDICATING LAMP FOR AUTOMOBILE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit a message display by irradiating message information reflected by a reflection element toward a rearward vehicle through a rear glass. SOLUTION: An indicating lamp 10 is formed out of a casing 6, a light source received therein, and a fixed hologram laminated body 5. The light source is constituted of a light emitting body 2, a reflection mirror 3 reflecting the light emitted from the light emitting body 2 toward the hologram laminated body 5, and a mask 4 giving letter or figure to the light emitted from the light emitting body 2. Hence, the light emitted from the incandescent lamp as the light emitting body 2 is irradiated toward the reflection type hologram 5a as the light including message information having a form of desired letter or figure by the mask 4. The light is reflected by the reflection type hologram 5a in the horizontal direction to pass through a rear glass, and transmitted toward a rearward vehicle. In addition, even under restraint of a small vehicle space, sufficient visibility of the message to the rearward vehicle can be given.
