BIAXIAL EXTRUDER EQUIPPED WITH BARREL HAVING BISECTED ZONE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxial extruder equipped with a bisectable barrel which is applicable to use the observation of a polymer in the course of processing in the extruder, allows observation to confirm whether a screw constitution is suitable for processing a polymer, and also allows an easy cleaning after the processing. SOLUTION: This biaxial extruder has a structure comprising a normal barrel zone I which is not bisectable, and a barrel zone II which is located at the downstream of the zone I and has a mechanism for opening/closing the zone II and bisecting it into an upper part and a bottom part. The upper bisected barrel 16a in the bisectable barrel can be opened/closed with handles 6a and 6b by virtue of the tensile strength of spring coils 12a and 12b in the rewinding direction of the coils which are jointed to the barrel 16a each at an end. The bottom bisected barrel 16b can be opened/closed with a handle through a linking mechanism jointed to the bottom bisected barrel 16b.
