ELECTRONIC ENDOSCOPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic endoscope for preventing the occurrence of lens cloudiness, damage to and corrosion of a solid image pickup element and an HIC and disconnection of a signal conductor when steam entering the endoscope enters an image pickup unit in sterilizing the endoscope by an autoclave. SOLUTION: A calking part 57a is formed in a tube fixing member 57. Thus, a thermally contractible tube 56 and an electric cable 44 are integrated to constitute a base end part of an electric equipment part 40. In this case, the thermally contracible tube 56 and the skin 44b of the electric cable 44 are put in a close contact state by forming a calking part 57a in the tube fixing member 57.
