Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calcium or magnesium preparation having high solubility in water at a low temperature and not having a substantial influence on the physical properties, processability and taste of food to be mixed with the preparation. SOLUTION: This calcium or magnesium preparation is produced by the neutralization reaction of a composition including lactic acid and gluconic one in a content ratio of (1:9)-(9:1) with a calcium or magnesium raw material in the presence of water. When natural matter such as a shell is used as the calcium raw material, minerals except calcium are also made to be included.
