APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR WINDING CORE MATERIAL FOR STATOR CORE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To move a band core material smoothly by regulating the interval between rolling rolls arranged on the traverse both sides of the core material, so as not to be narrower in the breadthwise directions. SOLUTION: This core material winder is composed of a pair of rolling rolls 10, 11, a rolling roll urging cylinder 31 for adjusting each pressure of the rolling rolls 10, 11, a side surface regulating guide 12, a positioning guide 13, a winding roller 14, a cutter 15, etc. The cylindrical parts 10c, 11c of the rolling rolls 10, 11 are provided with flanges 10d, 11d which regulate movement of the rolling rolls 10, 11 in their approaching directions. Besides, rolling roll teeth 10a, are formed projecting at the tip of the inclined part 10b of the rolling roll 10, engage with all the internal peripheral cutouts 2 successively, push the side surfaces of teeth 3, and aid a band thin plate 1 being ejected, when the rolling rolls 10, 11 are rotated. Consequently, it becomes possible to feed band thin plates smoothly and surely.
