PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To also discriminate the changing direction of an error status, when detecting error status of a data input to a radio receiver or the like. SOLUTION: An error detecting means 13 defects an error in various data received externally by a data input means 12, an error count means 16 counts the number of detected errors for each prescribed time, and a state discrimination means 18 discriminates an error status corresponding to the number of the counted errors. Furthermore, an interval count means 19 counts the interval of error detection by the error detection means 13, and a change discrimination means 20 discriminates a changing direction of the error status corresponding to the counted error interval. Thus, the changing direction of the error status can also be discriminated along with the error status of the data input.
