Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the dispersibility into cement material at the time of kneading and the adhesiveness to cement and to enhance the reinforcement effect on cement products with a small amount of addition by using reinforcing fibers formed by fixing metallic compounds to high-strength and high-modulus synthetic fibers consisting of a flexible polymer. SOLUTION: The fibers for reinforcing cement are obtained by fixing at least one kind of the metallic compound selected from metal oxides, metal hydroxides and metal oxyhydrides to the synthetic fibers consisting of the flexible polymer chains which have single yarn fineness of 0.5 to 100 denier, short fiber length of 5 to 70 mm, tensile strength of >=20 g/denier and modulus of elasticity in tension of >=500 g/denier, has many longitudinally long flutes on the fiber surfaces and a cross-section flattening rate of >=1.7. These fibers are mixed at 0.1 to 0.8 vol.% with a molding base material consisting of a cement composition. The metal compounds are the ones containing >=1 kinds among silicon, titanium, vanadium, chromium, manganese, iron, cobalt, nickel, copper, aluminum and zinc. |
