Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing control method, a printing control apparatus, a medium with a printing control program recorded and a printing apparatus whereby a data transmission amount can be reduced by compressing printing image data. SOLUTION: A band unit of a page frame buffer of a printer 50 is obtained. Printing image data divided by the band unit is generated. A capacity of the page frame buffer of the printer 50 can be small and, a use efficiency for a RAM can be improved. Since the printing image data is transmitted after compressed by a data compression process, a data transmission amount between a computer 10 and the printer 50 can be reduced.
