WELL BLOCK FOR PREVENTING SLAG INCLUSION, AND MOLTEN METAL CONTAINER, TO WHICH IT IS ATTACHED

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slag inclusion preventive well block used for preventing occurrence of a molten metal vortex, and a molten metal container, to which the block is attached. SOLUTION: This molten metal container is equipped with a slag inclusion preventive well block 1 having a high alumina base part 11 (400 mm long, 400 mm wide, and 200 mm high) and high alumina projection parts 12 for preventing a molten metal vortex (100 mm long, 50 mm wide, and 200 mm high) which are integrated with the base part 11, and a metal discharging nozzle attached by the well block. The projection parts 12 for preventing occurrence of the molten metal vortex are projected at the height of 200 mm from the inner surface of a bottom of the container main body. By restraining a flow of the molten steel, the molten steel vortex occurring near the molten steel gate is prevented in a final stage of casting, so as to prevent contamination of tundish powder, slag and the like.
