WIND SCREEN MOUNTING DEVICE FOR MICROPHONE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a wind screen from imprudently falling and to easily exchange the wind screen by detachably and mechanically locking the wind screen detachably mounted to the outer periphery of a microphone with respect to the microphone. SOLUTION: At mounting of the wind screen 3 to the outer periphery of a microphone 2, the wind screen 3 is inserted from the side of a locking ring 32 to the outer periphery of the microphone 2. Then, a locking ribs 33c of three locking pawls 33 are brought into contact with a knurled ring 22, which is the part to be locked of the microphone 2. By a tapered surface 33d on the lower side of the locking rib 33c, a lower end parts 33b of the three locking pawls 33 go over to the lower side of the knurled ring 22, while spreading so as to be deflected against elasticity in the outer side direction with an upper end part 33a as the center. When the lower end of the locking ring 32 is abutted to the base part 24a of a connector socket on the upper surface 5a of a main body 5, mounting to the outer periphery is done.
