Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device having a fast processing speed. SOLUTION: This device comprises a CPU 15 performing process, such as production of an image data for display, an image memory 16 storing image data, a liquid crystal display part 17 for image display, and a display control part 18 taking in the image data produced by the CPU 15 and storing it in the image memory 16, automatically performing generation of a control signal used during image displaying at the liquid crystal display part 17 and readout of the image data from the image memory 16, and periodically outputting these control signal and image data to the liquid crystal display part 17. By automatically performing generation of the control signal and readout of the image data and periodically outputting them to the liquid crystal display part 17, a display image is refreshed automatically.
