Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a heat exchange segment and a heat exchange element that does not cause out-of-plane deformation (collapse of shape) easily and can be handled easily, at the same time freely cause compression deformation in a lamination direction, achieves three-dimensional convection, further improves a heat-exchange efficiency, and is suitable for forming a gas-gas heat exchange element in lamination structure. SOLUTION: A heat exchange element 1 is formed by laminating a plurality of heat exchange segments 2. Also, the heat exchange segments 2 are formed by sealing a porous sheet 5 to the upper surface side of a plurality of hollow bodies 4 for forming a gas channel being arranged at a specific interval in the direction of X axis, and a plurality of elastic spacers 6 are sealed to a lower surface side at a specific interval in the direction of y axis. Also, the elastic spacers 6 are sealed while both ends in its longitudinal direction are arranged in a direction (X-axis direction) that orthogonally crosses one gas channel 7 and is pressed against the upper surface of the hollow bodies 4 for forming a gas channel of the lower stage (lower layer) to form the other gas channel 10.
