SOLUTION: In the producing method of the high carbon steel, with which a ladle refining is executed by blowing inert gas into molten steel containing 0.70-0.95 wt.% C and stirring, under condition of covering the molten steel surface with slag in =0.366 R 48g(ρm-ρs)σ/ρs2}0.581, wherein, : flow rate of the inert gas (watt/ton), R: radius of the ladle (cm), ρ: density of the molten steel (kg/m3), ρs: density of the slag (kg/m3) and σ: stress of interface (N/sec).
