Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the fire resistance, anticorrosiveness and adherence by applying a foamable fire resistant coating to a steel stock surface undercoated with a water-base anticorrosive primer containing a hydraulic cement, a synthetic resin emulsion and a fibrous material and/or a hollow filler. SOLUTION: A water-base anticorrosive primer is obtained by blending 100 pts.wt. hydraulic cement, 3-50 pts.wt. (solids) synthetic resin emulsion, and 5-30 pts.wt. fibrous material and/or hollow filler. A foamable fire resistant coating is obtained by blending 100 pts.wt. synthetic resin serving as a coating film- forming constituent, 50-800 pts.wt. ammonium polyphosphate, 10-200 pts.wt. foaming agent, 10-200 pts.wt. carbonizing agent, 1-200 pts.wt. inorganic filler, and a solvent, a pigment and the like. The surface of a steel sheet is undercoated with the water-base anticorrosive primer, the foamable fire resistant coating is applied thereon, and if necessary, a top coating material is applied thereon.
