NEW COATED POWDER AND COSMETIC FORMULATING THE SAME THEREIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a powder having a remarkably smooth touch as compared with that of a conventional product when used as a cosmetic, good in comfortableness to apply to skin or hair without any sense of incompatibility, that is, excellent in compatibility with the skin or hair (biocompatibility) and obtain a cosmetic containing the powder formulated therein. SOLUTION: This coated powder is coated with a mixture containing at least N-acyl derivatives (including the form of salts) of 14 kinds of amino acids which may exist in nature, especially preferably the powder treated with the mixture containing at least the N-acyl derivatives of the 14 kinds of amino acids prepared by wholly hydrolyzing proteins derived from animals such as a silk or a pearl or plants such as wheat or a soybean. The cosmetic is obtained by formulating and using the resultant powder in a cosmetic.
