PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe door opening and closing device when a physically handicapped person or aged person uses an elevator in the landing floor of the elevator by providing such a structure that the door opening and closing speed in an optional floor can be finely controlled by the change of the lamp of the elevator and the operation of a button. SOLUTION: The button 22 of a control board having a microcomputer 6 is pressed to output a fine control command of door opening and closing speed and also output a data to display lamps 3, 4. When the button is pressed in the position of the floor indicated by the lighting of the lamp 4, the repeated lighting is extinguished, and when the button 22 is operated once in the state where the upward lamp 3 is lighted, the fine control of the door closing speed is changed. Namely, the display lamp 4 is successively repeatedly lighted to designate the speed fine control, and the lamp is successively lighted every button operation to set a proper fine controlled speed. According to this, when a physically handicapped person or aged person uses the elevator, the door can be safely opened and closing without loosing the operation efficiency.
