ROTARY GRINDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the unevenness of the height and the hardness of a grinding surface generated at the inner periphery and the outer periphery of an abrasive body layer, in a rotary grinder using a plate piece form of abrasive plate pieces as the composing elements on the abrasive body layer. SOLUTION: In a rotary grinder in which a rotary board 3, and abrasive body layers 2 formed along the peripheral part of on the board 3, are provided, and the abrasive body layers 2 are composed of numerous retangular abrasive plate pieces 1 which are laid to surround the peripheral part of the board 3, in an inclined laminating condition, the abrasive plate pieces 1 are made by a rectangle as the basic form, they are adhered and fixed to the rotary base board surface at the lower end side, and the upper end side is cut obliquely in order to make the cutting width the smaller gradually, from the inner peripheral side to the outer peripheral side.
