Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for producing radiation impermeable medical implantation parts, such as catheters and stents and a method therefor. SOLUTION: This composition of a radiation impermeable brominated polyurethane coating material and a polyurethane tube core are formed. The polyurethane coating material includes diisocyante and brominated diol having a bromine concentration of >=30 wt.%. The coating material is applied on the surface of the elastomeric polyurethane tube core 20. The resultant medical implantation parts have the advantages accompanying the brominated radiation impermeable polyurethane and maintains, for example, the flexibility and tensile characteristics, such as torsion resistance, of the elastomeric thermoplastic polyurethane tube core without degrading these desired characteristics.
