Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select desired facsimile picture information from facsimile picture information from a client computer and to display/print it by providing a request reception means, a response transmission means, an index information transmission control means and a facsimile picture information transmission control means. SOLUTION: A network interface 202 functions as a request reception means and a response transmission means. A hard disk 203 functions as a non-volatile storage means and a CPU 211 functions as an index information generation means, an index information transmission control means, a facsimile picture information transmission control means, an index information arranging means and an arrayed index information transmission control means. The control program of the CPU 211 is installed on a hard disk 203 from an FD and a CD-ROM through an FD drive 206 and a CD-ROM drive 207 and it is executed. Desired facsimile picture information is selected from received facsimile picture information, is displayed and printed.
