Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make possible peeling and regeneration of mounting failure without producing defects in an interlayer insulating film in the production of a liquid crystal display device having a larger opening rate in which pixel electrodes are disposed in the uppermost layer of an active element array substrate through the interlayer insulating film. SOLUTION: Panel mounted electrodes 6a connected to active elements are formed in a mounting part, and an interlayer insulating film 7 is formed. The interlayer insulating film 7 on the panel mounted electrodes 6a and on the drain electrodes is opened by patterning. Then a protective film 8b is formed to cover the edge region 7b of the interlayer insulating film and the panel mounted electrodes 6a by patterning. Then terminals mounted on circuits with circuit mounted electrodes formed are connected by using a connecting film having anisotropic conductivity. By this method, the connecting film can be peeled without producing defects in the interlayer insulating film edge 7b in a remounting process. |
