Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component which has a stable impedance value and a stable DCR(DC resistance) value and can easily be manufactured. SOLUTION: This electronic component is provided with a conductive member 5 buried in a base body 4 and end surface electrodes 6 at both the ends of the base body 4, has the conductive member 5 and end surface electrodes 5 electrically joined together, and is provided with a contact area (A1) where the conductive member 5 and base body 4 come into contact and a noncontact area (A2) where the conductive member 5 and air 4 are not in contact by providing a gap part G.
