KITCHEN HOOD AND FILTER THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily recover an increase in a vent resistance due to clogging of a filter member by providing a filter roll obtained by winding a filter member at an inside of a hood body, traversing the unrolled member across a vent passage, and then winding the end side by a winding roll. SOLUTION: In a hood body 1, a grease filter is formed in a rolled state by winding a filter member 4a on a winding roll 4b, and the roll 4b is detachably and rotatably mounted at a bearing disposed at an inside of one of window frames 5a surrounding a suction window 5b of a grease filter box 5. The member 4a wound on the roll 4b is unrolled from an end of the roll, and drawn to be disposed along an inside of the window 5b. Thus, a venting part contaminated by the venting part oppositely to the window 5b is sequentially wound on the roll 4c, and new venting part is opposed to the window 5b, a venting resistance caused by excess clogging of the filter due to dirt can be prevented from being increased.
