Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide phosphorescent-material-containing resin beads each of which is composed of a resin bead and a phosphorescent material contained within it and a process for producing them. SOLUTION: The beads are produced by dispersing a monomer capable of oil-in-water polymerization or a prepolymer or a resin solution capable of oil-in-water crosslinking and phosphorescent material particles in water containing a suspension stabilizer under agitation, effecting suspension polymerization of suspension crosslinking by heating to form resin beads, and subjecting the mixture to solid/liquid separation followed by washing and drying.
