Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject dispersion having sufficient usable time and capable of exhibiting high coated film hardness, etc., by producing a copolymer from a specific monomer mixture, further polymerizing the monomer and adding a compound having a specific group. SOLUTION: This self-crosslinkable copolymer aqueous dispersion is obtained by (A) a free radical-initiating copolymerizing a monomer mixture comprising 2-55 wt.% of an olefinic unsaturated monomer having carbonyl group, 0.5-20 wt.% of an α,β-olefinically unsaturated carboxylic acid, etc., 20-70 wt.% of an olefinically unsaturated monomer, etc., 10-60 wt.% of an alkyl ester of an α,β-olefinic unsaturated carboxylic acid, etc., and 0-25 wt.% of a vinyl ester of an aliphatic saturated carboxylic acid, etc., and (B) adding a monomer mixture comprising 30-90 wt.% of an olefinically unsaturated monomer, 10-60 wt.% of an alkyl ester of an α,β-olefinically unsaturated carboxylic acid, etc., and 0-40 wt.% of other free radical polymerizable monomer to the resultant component A and polymerizing, and further adding (C) a compound having hydrazine or hydrazide.
