PRODUCTION OF SHEET-LIKE COSMETIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sheet-like cosmetic moderately transferring powder to cleansed skin and having a good feeling of use by coating and impregnating a sheet-like base material with a liquid composition containing a powder comprising a synthetic polymer or a natural mineral and an aqueous medium and cutting and laminating the resultant base material after making the powder and the aqueous medium retain on the base material. SOLUTION: The objective cosmetic is produced by coating and impregnating a sheet-like base material (e.g. cloth or nonwoven fabric made of rayon, acetate, cotton, or the like, and pulp sheet or the like reinforced by polyethylene, or the like) with a liquid composition which contains a powder comprising a synthetic polymer or a natural mineral, for example, a spherical powder, which comprises an organic silicone group-containing polymer or talc, and preferably >=60 wt.% of the total powder have a particle size in the range of 0.5 to 30 μm, and an aqueous medium, and cutting and laminating the resultant base material after making the powder and the aqueous medium retain on the base material. The cosmetic may contain a silicone oil having 1 to 200 mm2/s viscosity at 25 deg.C in order to improve a feeling of touching.
