DISPLAY DEVICE FOR ELEVATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a display for showing a condition under-thenotifying at a low cost by providing an elevator provided with a display for displaying the information in a car thereof so that display of under-the-notifying is performed in the display when a car call button provided in a car-inside operation board is operated. SOLUTION: A car 1 is provided with an operation board 2, which is provided with a notifying unit 4, a floor registration button 5, an opening button 6 and a closing button 7, and a display 8. The display 8 is connected to a display unit 9 and a message unit 10 provided in a machine room, and the display information formed by the message unit 10 is sent to the display 8 through the display unit 9 so as to display the weather forecast and news or the like. In the case where a car-lock accident is generated by an interruption of electrical service or the like, when a passenger pushes the call button 3 of the notifying unit 4, notifying is performed to an external notifying unit 14 trough a signal line 13, and the information about the car-lock failure is displayed in the display 8 through the message unit 10 at the same time.
