Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a standing-up and sitting-down handrail, to which force is easy to be applied in standing-up and sitting-down action, by which a burden to a wrist can be lightened and which has excellent usability. SOLUTION: The hand-toughing surface 19 of a shelf-shaped hand-touching section 11 extended in the lateral direction is inclined so that the front side is made lower than the rear side from a user. When standing-up and sitting- down operation is conducted under the state, in which a hand touches on the hand-touching surface 19, force is easier to be applied than the hand-touching surface 19 is arranged in the horizontal direction, and the bending of a wrist is also reduced and a burden to the wrist can be lightened.
