Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a metallic gloss slit yarn for piece dyeing and finishing capable of carrying out the dyeing in the same color as that of wool by mixed use thereof in a woolen product according to dyeing under atmospheric pressure by laminating a transparent polyamide-based film with a metal vapor deposition layer formed on one surface of the film kept on the inside to another transparent polyamide-based film through an adhesive and then slitting the laminate. SOLUTION: This metallic gloss slit yarn for piece dyeing and finishing is obtained by forming an aluminum metal vapor deposition layer having 20-100 nm thickness through a resin undercoating layer having 0.005-2 μm thickness on one surface of a polyamide-based transparent film having 6-12 μm thickness, e.g. nylon 6 or nylon 66, then laminating the resultant film with the metal vapor deposition layer kept on the inside through an adhesive layer such as a urethane resin to another transparent polyamide-based film and subsequently slitting the laminate. The resultant slit yarn has a flatness defined by dividing the thickness (μm) of the slit yarn by the width (μm) within the range of 0.006-0.167.
