PIPE END PLUG FITTING DEVICE OF METALLIC PIPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely drive an end plug into an end face of a steel pipe with a specified pressure and with high productivity. SOLUTION: A pipe end plug fitting device of a metallic pipe is provided with a continuously arranging device 20 which arranges ends 11a'-11d' of four stele tubes 11a-11d, and supports and arranges the other ends 11a"-11d", a tube end plug supplying device 30 which supplies pipes end plugs 31a-31d to face sides of the ends 11a'-11d' of the continuously arranged steel pipes 11a-11d, a pipe end plug carrying device 40 which carries the supplied pipes end plugs 31a-31d until they are inserted in the steel pipes 11a-11d, a driving device 5 which seals the inside of the steel pipes 11a-11d by applying the specified driving pressure to the pipe end plugs 31a-31d inserted in the steel tubes 11a-11d by the pipe end plug carrying device 40, and a buckling preventive device 60 which prevents the buckling of the steel pipes 11a-11d at the time of driving the pipe end plugs 31a-31d by the driving device 50 by restricting an outer circumferential surface of a part of the longitudinal direction of the steel pipes 11a-11d in a combined manner.
