Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the recovering ratio of copper by separating calcium ferrite slag formed on the surface of molten copper, adding Ca source in the slag, adjusting Ca content in the slag in the specific range, reducing the slag for converting copper oxide in the slag into the molten copper and recovering. SOLUTION: Flux is added to the molten copper to form the calcium ferrite slag and impurity in the molten copper is absorbed in the slag. The slag is desirable to contain Fe and Ca at >=87 wt.% as iron oxide and 3-13 wt.% as calcium oxide. The Ca source is added to the slag separated from the molten copper and the Ca content in the slag is adjusted to 20-28 wt.% to the total content of the iron oxide and the calcium oxide. Then, the slag is reduced and the copper oxide in the slag is converted into the molten copper. This reduction is desirable to execute until the copper content in the slag becomes 4-10 wt.% as the copper oxide. |
