OILY COSMETIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an oily cosmetic having a high antimicrobial activity, capable of effectively preventing secondary contamination due to direct application to skin or reutilization of an application tool and excellent in stability, usability and safety by including a specific amount of 1,2-pentanediol. SOLUTION: This oily cosmetic contains 0.05-10.0 wt.% of 1,2-pentanediol. The oily cosmetic is preferably composed of, e.g. 3.0 wt.% of a solid paraffin, 6.0 wt.% of a microcrystalline wax, 2.0 wt.% of a beeswax, 12.0 wt.% of vaseline, 1.0 wt.% of acetylated lanolin, 6.0 wt.% of squalane, 16.5 wt.% of isopropyl palmitate, 1.5 wt.% of the 1,2-pentanediol, 0.2 wt.% of tocopherol acetate, 17.5 wt.% of talc, 15.0 wt.% of kaolin, 15.0 wt.% of titanium oxide, 1.0 wt.% of red iron oxide, 3.0 wt.% of yellow iron oxide, 0.2 wt.% of black iron oxide and 0.1 wt.% of a perfume.
