Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garnish that presents an external hinge and is extremely easily mountable on automobiles. SOLUTION: This automobile garnish comprises a first garnish member 2 mounted on an automobile body and a second garnish member 3 mounted on an automobile door. The first garnish member 2 has an arcuate guide groove 23 at a bottom 24 ending a garnish portion 21. The second garnish member 3 consists of a base 31 and a movable garnish portion 32 slidable relative to the base 31. The first and second garnish members 2 and 3 butt against each other along the hinged portion of the automobile door, with an engagement portion 36 at the point of the movable garnish portion 32 of the second garnish member 3 received in the guide groove 23 of the first garnish member 2, so that opening/closing movement of the door slides the movable garnish portion 32 accordingly through the engagement of the engagement portion 36 in the guide groove 23.
