DEFLECTOR FOR SUNROOF DEVICE FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an initial load on a deflector during reclining to make the lifting up/down action natural and smooth for the deflector turning from an upright operation position to a lowest storage position by a closing action of a lid of a sun roof device. SOLUTION: A deflector plate 11 is mounted turnably up/down under the front edge of a roof opening. The rear edge of left and right deflector arms 12 is mounted turnably up/down under the side edges of the opening, and the front edge is engaged with the sides of the deflector plate 11. A deflector 10 comprises the deflector plate 11 and the deflector arms 12. A deflector shoe 16 of a lid bracket 7 slides on a guide face 13 of the deflector arm 12. The rear part of the guide face 13 is structured such that a curved recess is formed at the center viewed from the side, thereby increasing the sliding amount of the deflector shoes 16 from the start of reclining when the deflector arms 12 contact the deflector shoes 16 to a storage position larger than that in a conventional one during the lid 6 is closing.
