DEFLECTOR DEVICE FOR SUN ROOF DEVICE FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold a deflector firmly at a lowest storage position when a lid is fully closed in a sun roof device where the lid slides to open and the front part of the lid lifts up/down during opening/closing operation. SOLUTION: When a lid 6 moves forward, a deflector shoe 16 provided on a lid bracket 7 contacts slidably to and turns downward the top end of a deflector arm 12, and moves a deflector 10 comprising a deflector plate 11 and a deflector arm 12 into the lowest storage position. At the front end position of the lid 6, a deflector stopper 17 engages the deflector arm 12 at its lowest position to restrict the upward turn, and is provided on a front side shoe 43 that is a part of a front side lift up/down mechanism 4. when the front part of the lid lifts up, the lid is fully closed, and the deflector shoe 16 leaves the deflector arm 12, the deflector stopper 17 keeps holding the deflector 10 at a lowest storage position.
