WORKING METHOD AND DEVICE FOR GRINDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parallel plane grinder using an upper and a lower grinding wheel to perform grinding capable of supplying free abrasive grains automatically to the space between a work to be ground and the grinding wheels during the grinding operation certainly while the configuration remains simple. SOLUTION: Free abrasive grains GC in pulverised and granular form are stored in a cylindrical vessel 10 provided at the side walls with a number of small holes 12, and the vessel 10 is attached to a sun gear 5 rotating together with grinding wheels, and thereby the vessel 10 also rotates in association with the rotation of the grinding wheels, and the centrifugal force due to the rotation allows the abrasive grains GC to hop out from the small holes 12 and fly outward from the central part to be supplied to the space between the grinding wheels and the applicable surface of a work to be ground.
