Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a helical coarse shape tooth finish molding method being advantageous for securing reliability, and a device which can be used for it, while adopting a mechanical system, when a phase related to a helical coarse tooth of a work is made to be matched. SOLUTION: A punch 6 is descended towards a work 1 under a condition that a tip end part of a guide operation unit 7 is projected from a bottom face of the punch 6. Thereby, a tip end part of the guide operation unit 7 abuts with the work 1, and the guide operation unit 7 is relatively rotated in a peripheral direction of the work 1 accompanied by the abutment. Accompanied by the relative rotation, the tip end part of the guide operation unit 7 is inlaid in a tooth groove 1k of the work 1 with an energized force of an energizing part 72. Thereafter, the punch 6 is relatively moved in a peripheral direction so that a peripheral direction phase matching of a punching tooth 64 of the punch 6 and a helical coarse shape tooth 1d of the work 1 is carried out.
